Pierre Bourque Finishes in Top 10 at Trois-Rivieres
When Pierre Bourque recorded his first career NASCAR top-10 finish on Sunday, it was on familiar ground.  The Canadian finished a strong seventh in the NASCAR Canadian Tire race on the fabled road course at Trois-Rivieres, Quebec.
Bourque started 23rd, but charged hard through the pack and finished seventh.  He also earned two post race NASCAR awards -  the Hard Charger Award for making most passes in the race and the Mopar Award for being top finishing Dodge driver.

“It's not only my first NASCAR top-10 finish, but my best stock car finish ever, so I'm thrilled by how the race went,” said the road racing veteran.  My #29 Driving.Ca, Conservative Party, Canada.Com, Working.Com, Dose.Ca Dodge Charger ran flawlessly.

“I want to thank everyone at Whitlock Motorsports for putting together a rocket ship for me. In particular, my two key hands-on guys Steve Mifsud and Christopher Hopper, a big thanks for their sweat equity.”
In addition to having a great pit crew behind him, Bourque’s team also includes
a great line-up of sponsors as well.

“Having great sponsors like driving.ca, canada.com, working.com, and Dose.ca and associate sponsors like Sonomax and Immunotec make this all possible.  I appreciate their support.”

"This week, Bourque was to head to Chicagoland Speedway to test for the upcoming ARCA RE/MAX Series race on September 8th, but the team's rig, including race car, was stolen overnight in Illinois. Nonetheless, Bourque will be entered in that event, his first ARCA race of the season."

Bourque is splitting his time between the Whitlock Motorsports NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entry and Kevin Buckler's The Racers Group team in Grand-Am road racing.  He also made his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut last month at Indianapolis’ O’Reilly Raceway Park and will be making additional announcements on his future racing plans very shortly.
